I have had the honor of participating in this moving and heartbreaking graphic anthology about the heroes of October 7th.

I chose Amit Mann as my heroine.

Amit was a 22 year old paramedic who saved many lives in the Be'eri Kibutz, until her very last breath on that horrifying day.

She was shot several times by the terrorists.

In my work, I chose to show Amit in two timelines:

Her as a paramedic instructor, with the actual text from the courses she would teach, in cool colors of white and blue, and her in the actual day, trying to save lives with all of her training a dramatic red and yellow palette.

The story is illustrated with ink to convey the strong feelings in Amit's story.
